    Why Esports?

    Gaming and Esports, as of today, is more than just people playing games with friends and family. It is a billion-dollar business where opportunities are still up for grabs! Esports, the competitive edge of gaming, is way more clearly and all the more present.

    Therefore, it is long overdue that an academic network was set up. Hereby, knowledge, know-how can be provided, and firsthand professional insight can get shared by those who are passionate about Esports.

    Here at the VUB, we embrace Esports. Therefore, we want to cater a course that primarily draws attention from the commercial and economic background of the Esports industry. The Expert Class will grant every participant the network, knowledge, know-how and insight that is required for a flourishing career in this rapidly growing industry.

    Furthermore, the course will touch upon several topics and aspects, ranging from the history of Esports to organizing events and from marketing to social aspects and many more.

    Neem deel aan deze fascinerende namiddag en ontdek de raakvlakken tussen Esports, Gaming & Virtual Reality binnen de gezondheidszorg. Dit seminar biedt dan ook inzichten in hoe deze dynamische domeinen het huidige landschap vernieuwen en zet toepassingen in de kijker op het vlak van gezondheid. We kijken ernaar uit u te mogen verwelkomen op donderdag 4 januari bij de Universitaire Stichting voor dit 5de Brussels Esports Seminar met als verrassende thema "Esports, Gaming & VR in Gezondheid".
